We have all seen the images recently of an unbelievably well-organised pantry belonging to a Hollywood actress and in fact Pinterest is full of such photos. I'm sure many people look at them in awe and think they could never be that organised and really who does have time to buy matching jars and label them up so precisely? However as someone who mourns the loss of their pantry in a recent house move I can confirm that even a less organised one is a thing of joy.
As a bespoke furniture manufacture we can provide any shelving arrangement that is required for a walk in larder. However many houses just don't have that extra cupboard area so one of our favourite products is a pantry interior. This fits inside a standard tall unit turning a cabinet with shelves into a gorgeous storage arrangement.
Door mounted racks are ideal for small jars and bottles, oils, sauces, spices and seasonings. All the ingredients you use constantly but always end up getting pushed to the back of a standard cupboard.
The shelving can be arranged, as in the example above, so that there is room for small appliances along with a power socket so they can be used in situ. This has the added benefit of keeping them off the worktop whilst still easier to use than if they were boxed at the back of another cupboard. The rest of the shelving will take every tin, jar and box you need and plenty of them so you can keep a good stock of regular ingredients.
The drawers are great for pasta and pulses and other bagged items. As a bespoke item we can alter the quantity of drawers or replace them with baskets. Sometimes we have two drawers with wine bottle racks either side, sometimes wooden trays. We even make the same interior to fit curved cabinets to make a great feature in a kitchen corner.
So if you want to unload your groceries into one cabinet, stock up on store cupboard essential and find everything at a glance the pantry interior is a must when planning your next kitchen. The added bonus with this unit is you can shut the doors and pretend you have all those neat rows of carefully labelled jars and boxes.
